The Urban Teaching Residency program offers a one-year program for current teachers to pursue the Special Education credential. The program includes five courses online and participation in the V.A.S.T. L.I.F.E program on some Saturdays.
You can earn the ESL Program Specialist certificate in one year in this add-on program designed for teachers. Members of the Urban Teaching Apprenticeship Program who select the Language Diversity specialty will start some coursework during their initial certification/M.S.Ed. year.
If you have a passion for literacy, you can earn the Reading Specialist certificate through Penn GSE’s Reading/Writing/Literacy M.S.Ed. and Reading Specialist Certification program.
The Experiences in Applied Computational Thinking (EXACT) online certificate program helps educators learn computational thinking and computer programming while preparing them to teach these subjects.
The Project-Based Learning Certificate program is advanced professional development that prepares teachers to engage their students in authentic intellectual inquiry, facilitate learning through projects, and develop vital student skills such as critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
The Virtual Online Teaching (VOLT) certificate program trains instructors in best practices to reach students of all ages through virtual teaching.

School Leadership Program - Principal Certification
